When you try to open, copy, move a file or folder, you get Access Denied

The file or folder is there but the user account currently logged in doesn't have permission to view it, or the file or folder isn't shared properlty
To fix, follow these steps

Restart the computer (if this doesn't fix the issue, continue to next step)

Access Services (Link will open in a separate window)

Double-click Server

Select Automatic under Startup Type drop down menu

Click the Start button (if it is available)

Click Apply

Click OK
