Screen is blurry
The cause of blurry text can be from various causes
- The picture can be out of alignment
- Various temperature changes can affect the picture (too cold or too hot)
- Magnetic devices near by such as speakers can cause issues with a monitor
- Fans can interfere with picture quality
- Various types of light can affect the monitor
- Loose connection
- Resolution setting
To troubleshoot try the following
- Check the cable to make sure it is connected and screwed in tight. (Be sure to check on both ends. Some monitors have removable cables)
- Play with the controls on the monitor to see if that helps
- If the screen is blury only at times, take note of the temperature when the problem happens
- Move any speakers, fans, phones or anything magnetic away from the screen.
- Turn off the lights in the room to see if it affects the monitor
- Try the monitors native resolution
- Try different fonts
- Make sure you have the latest driver for your video card
- Try another monitor to see if it is the monitor or the video card causing the issue.
