Capacitor is leaking or swollen

If the capacitor is swollen, bulging, or the top is not flat, this can be an indication of a failing capacitor. The capacitor can also be leaking fluid. If you have a capacitor that is showing these issues, you will need to replace the motherboard. This condition can cause the system to hang, reboot, shutoff or other issues.
