Device Manager is Blank

Can be caused if Plug and Play is turned off or by a virus.

To fix follow these steps

Click Start
Click Run
Type services.msc
Click on OK
Double-click Plug and Play.
If you receive a Configuration Manager message, click OK
In the Startup Type list, click Automatic
Click OK
Restart the computer

If the device manager is still blank, try the Virus Troubleshooter.
