This article is from Google. If you would like to see it from their website, click here (I have it on my website below to avoid broken links)

If you're having problems uninstalling Google Chrome through your Windows Control Panel, follow these steps to manually remove the browser.

These instructions involve modifying your Windows registry. If you're uncomfortable or unfamiliar with editing your registry, you may want to consult a computer technician before you start. You may also want to consider backing up your registry before proceeding.
  1. Make sure extensions are displayed for your files. (click your operating system)

    1. Windows XP

    2. Windows Vista and Windows 7

  2. Right click this link

  3. Click Save Link as or Save Target as (depending on your operating system and browser)

  4. Save the file name as remove.reg to a location on your computer (Select "All files" as your file type.)

  5. Exit Google Chrome completely

  6. Double-click Remove.reg from the location you saved it at

  7. In the confirmation Window, click Yes

  8. Click OK

  9. Access Run or Search window

  10. Enter one of the following commands in the text field, depending on your operating system:

    2. Windows vista and Windows 7

      1. %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google

  11. Delete the Chrome folder in the directory that opens

Google Chrome should now be uninstalled.
