Messenger pop ups

These pop-ups are not from MSN Messenger. This is from a different feature that has nothing to do with MSN Messenger. The messenger deals with net send and alerter. Turning it off will not affect MSN Messenger. Follow these steps to turn the feature off to stop these pop-ups.

Click on Start
Click on Run and type "Services.msc /s"
Click on OK
Locate the Messenger string and select it.
Click on the Properties button on the Services panel toolbar.
On the Startup type set it to disabled.
Click on the stop button
Click on Apply
