unmountable boot volume

If you get the message Unmountable Boot Volume, it can either be a bad hard drive or windows corruption.

If it is windows corruption causing the issue, running chkdsk /r will fix the issue. If it is the hard drive, you will have to replace the drive. Consult the manufacturer of the drive for the diagnostics to run on the drive.
