Windows Explorer presents the folders that is on various devices such as

Primary hard drive (known as the C drive)
Secondary hard drives
CD-ROM drives
Flash drives
Zip Drives
Other various drives

Windows Explorer allows you to view

Folders that is on a specific drive or device
Files that are located in various folders on various devices

With Windows Explorer, you can

Search for files through out various devices
Rename file or files
Delete a file or files
Delete a folder or folders
Move a file or folder to another location
See how much free space is on your drive
