How to zip and unzip a file

To zip a folder or file do the following

Open Windows Explorer (link will open in a different window)
Do one of the following
1. Right-click the folder you want to zip
2. Highlight all the files you want zipped
  1. Right-click the highlighted files
Click Send To
Click Compressed (Zipped) folder

To unzip a folder or file do the following (Instructions are for Windows Vista)

Double-click on the zip file

Click Extract All

If the default location is not where you want the files, Click on Browse

Choose the location that you want the files to be extracted (such as the floppy drive, Flash drive or another location on the hard drive)
Click Extract

Windows XP may be a little different but should be similar enough to follow
